Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade

The Faculty offers an integrated variety of core courses in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Finance. These courses are carefully selected and designed to match standards of leading universities in Europe and United States.

The faculty offers a variety of elective courses that meet the needs of local and international labor markets.   

Objectives

The philosophy of the Faculty of Business Administration and International Trade is reflected in a set of goals and objectives as follows:

To prepare students for careers in the fields of business administration and international trade.
To prepare students to pursue research in various area of study, including business management, accounting, marketing, and finance.
To develop students' analytical thinking, problem-solving and research skills.
To prepare students for unique career opportunities through the study of a major and a minor.
To provide expertise to different institutions and organizations in various fields including business administration, finance, marketing, domestic and internationl trade.

Excellence in Teaching

The faculty applies a variety of techniques to ensure quality education. Classes are enhanced by renowned professionals in the field. Students are taken on field trips to places such as the cairo alexandria Stock Exchange, Sekem, & factories giving you on-hands experience. You are also expected to submit several researches in which you conduct field study after searching the ever-growing related literature. The combination of the theoretical and practical work ensures a well- equipped graduate capable of excelling in the competitive business world.

Academic Program

 The students of the Faculty of Business administration & International Trade are required to finish 46 courses equivalent to 144 credit hours in 4 years.) Students can chose from 5 main departments.

The Career fileds which graduates of the faculty can work in

 Holding a B.A degree in Business Administration will produce excellent calibers that can penetrate different opportunities in the banking industry, research centers, stock markets, foreign trade companies, advertising agencies and non-banking financial institutions.

Educational Facilities

 The Faculty provides computer labs equipped with the latest software and Internet access to aid students in their work. There is also a wireless Internet connection to facilitate access to information anywhere on campus. The library provides books, periodicals and academic references for all majors to help enhance students’ research skills and knowledge.

Accreditation

 By the decree No. 62 of the Ministry of Higher Education on 28/10/1998, the faculty was accredited to grant the Bachelor of Business Administration and International Trade. The departments of specialization are Accounting, Managment, Economics and Marketing.
